We are a full service sports school that will concentrate on developing skills and building confidence for all ages and skill levels. We will provide experienced and knowledgeable Coaches to help you reach your goals. We use a cognitive approach to teaching fundamental and advanced sports skills that develops the “Total Athlete.” We will continue to expand our Hockey division while developing offerings for other sports. Total Development Sports

It is our mission to develop the “Total Athlete” through the teaching of fundamental sports skills, the building of one’s character, and the encouragement of reflective thinking.

Philosophy is very important to us at Total Development Sports. A lot of sports schools can successfully teach the basic skills to play a sport. Even though we focus on the basics, our mindset is that there is so much more to the development of an athlete. We believe in advancing the athlete’s character, making them better equiped to play in a team environment. We find that athletes with good character progress more quickly to a higher level. We also believe the use of reflective or critical thinking enhances the athlete’s ability to master a skill. Allowing the athlete to take mental responsibility for what they are learning gives them an advantage over athletes that are learning by simple repetition. We believe our philosophy will help your athlete become the “Total Athlete.”
